Main purpose / objective of the position :
To ensure that finance is seen as a value adding business partner. Develop finances influence in the making of business decisions.
To oversee and manage all aspects of the management company financial function. To develop systems that cater for the reporting needs of the business.
Decision making authority :
This position operates within budget parameters and decision framework. Decisions are based on knowledge of systems and theory and are chosen from prescribed policies and procedures.
Workers in upper C job grades supervise or co-ordinate the work of lower C grades.
Experience / Education :
Minimum B.Com with accounting 3 or equivalent qualification and at least 3 years relevant working experience.
Skills required :
Computer literacy : SAP / NICOR / MDA, MS Office, Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word ad Outlook Administration Skills : Time management, organizing skills, ability to multi-
task, advanced financial calculations and reporting, business planning.
Knowledge required :
Detailed knowledge of all financial policies, procedures and processes, capital expenditure, legal aspects, income statements, balances sheets, budgets, forecasts, IFRS and Tax.
