Analysis of internal and external sales data, setup set objectives against commercial strategy and communicate objectives to sales and merchandising departments.
General Commercial administration and assistance of Commercial Management to increase department efficiency and effectiveness.
Contribute towards maximizing selling opportunities within the greater selling team to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximized.
MRP planning and working with Sales and Sales Administration.
Sales Analysis : Internal and external analysis of sales figures.
Capturing Commercial Purchase Orders (PO).
Handling Senior Commercial Managers meeting calendars.
Assists with reporting from Sales, Marketing and NPD on a weekly basis.
Customer CRM capturing on SAP and / or CRM platforms to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Assist with Customers, Management and Directors PowerPoint presentations.
General drafting of letters, procedures and emails for Commercial and Management.
Managing Commercial Teams tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
Taking minutes of Commercial meetings and creating feedback reports.
Setting up meetings for Commercial and Management.
Booking of Commercial Teams travel arrangements.
Organizing Commercial strategy events and team building.
Assisting with Commission calculations for Sales Agents and Sales Representatives.
Completing listing documents, Customer price change documents and general Customer documents.
Capturing new Customer lead forms and gathering all information from sales for new credit applications.
Updating promotion grids to ensure compliance.
Compiling gap reports for merchandising and pulling site cover reports.
Tracking DC stocks nationally and identifying expiring stock / returns.
Tracking short dated stock in the warehouses and following up with the Commercial Team.
Sending out general correspondence to outside parties from the Commercial Department.
Following up with other departments on information needed for the Commercial Department.
Assisting with KRA performance reviews for the Commercial Department.
Compiling of Monthly Margin Reports for monthly discussions.
Key Competencies :
Qualification and Experience
Financial / Analytical degree would be an advantage
Computer literacy - Very strong Excel capabilities
Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel if necessary
Strong established relationships within the FMCG market
