Our client requires an Endpoint Engineer to develop and implement system designs and products consistent with company needs.

They are required to have current operating systems experience, including but not limited to Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android as well as Scripting / Development languages.

Requirements

Lead implementations Feasibility studies, PoCs, Product Comparisons, Optimization Analysis as well as General research and challenging suppliers to improve

Maintain expertise review new tech, security standards, continuing education and training

Provide technical direction Large projects, assist in development of tech specs, perf and test criteria, resolution of complex technical issues, ensuring regulatory compliance, product roadmaps, develop implementation procedures and standards

Drive execution Multiple projects, communicate plans and priorities, measure and adjust activities accordingly, demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning

Supervision provide training, assigning duties, build team-based work environment, provide recognition and coaching for success

Business Needs evaluate ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives by working with key stakeholders solicit, evaluate, and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Leads resolution of security system issues by troubleshooting and diagnosing issues through :

  • Ensure system / application health is maintained and visible for the growing computer systems landscape through existing, open source, or self-developed automation methods.
  • Root cause analysis and steps for resolution as it relates to server / workstation-related issues affected by the Endpoint Security software stack
  • Identifying trends and taking corrective action to address performance problems
  • Creating reports and actionable metrics for security system products
  • Providing updates to customers, project leads, and management team on problem resolution status
  • Driving supplier participation during problem resolution

  • Analytics and Data Trending
  • Lead Implementations - Proven experience in leading feasibility studies, PoCs, product comparisons, optimization analysis, general research and challenging suppliers to improve.

    Ability to articulate area leadership philosophy and practices, and provide persuasive evidence of success with such practices.

    Maintain Expertise Review new technologies, security standards, continuing education, and training.

    Technical Direction Experience in large projects and assisting in development of tech specs, perf and test criteria, resolution of complex technical issues, ensuring regulatory compliance, product roadmaps, and development of implementation procedures and standards.

    Drive Execution Multiple projects, communicate plans and priorities, measure and adjust activities accordingly, demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning

    Supervision Provide training, assigning duties, build team-based work environment, provide recognition and coaching for success

    Business Needs Ability to independently develop relationships with key business verticals inside and outside of Security Infrastructure.

    Demonstrated success in :

  • Identifying key technical leadership and engaging effectively with same (i.e. earning the confidence and engagement of leadership within the vertical).
  • Identifying the goals, challenges and technologies of importance to the business vertical, and effectively forecasting needs and support opportunities associated with these roadmaps.
  • Evaluate ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives by working with key stakeholders solicit, evaluate, and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Thought Leadership demonstrated success in :

  • Developing strategies, ideas, projects and processes to improve team and organizational performance.
  • Effectively forecasting challenges or obstacles with may adversely impact key deliverables.
