    How youll role* As the Portfolio Manager : Professional Designations, you will be responsible for the entire operational administration of the company's professional designations process.

    This will include retention, maintenance and administrative communication related to the sustainable support of current certified designated individuals.

    The Portfolio Manager : Professional Designations is a self-starter, client-relationship focused individual, who thrives in and enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced, multi-cultural and multi-dimensional environment with a supportive and positive culture of on-time delivery. *What youll do*

  • Follow-up and coordinate sales qualified leads for the public programme of the designations process
  • Administer the executive designation process as coordinated by the project leader
  • Manage and respond to client / member emails and website traffic
  • Engage at all levels and activities related to the professional designations process
  • Attend to related workshops and meetings as and when required
  • Engage with stakeholders as guided by the project leader
  • Maintain the database
  • Capture and maintain all relevant data for professional designations on required platforms
  • Plan, organise and execute all administrative tasks related to the implementation of the full designations process and maintenance thereof
  • Manage the administrative execution of all steps in the designations process
  • Prepare reports for the project leader as and when required
  • Document the business requirements and processes for designations as defined by the project leader
  • Develop and manage the annual designations calendar
  • Coordinate and administer the designations project team requirements
  • Complete day to day administration and align the SCubed database
  • At times, complete day to day administration and align the MarkEdOnline CPD platform
  • Manage the project variances through root cause analysis and correction
  • Resolve critical issues in a time-sensitive environment
  • Work with the finance officer / accountant, basic financial administration relevant to the designations process
  • Prepare of all documentation required for audits under the guidance of the project leader
  • Maintain and improve the designations document management system
  • Support the project leader with managing the affairs of the professional designations board *What youll need* *Education requirements : *
  • Minimum of NQF level 7 commercial and / or business administration orientated qualification
  • Professional certification in the relevant industry category will be preferred
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language (read, write, and speak) is a must *Preferred work experience :
  • Minimum 3 years in : *

  • A senior administration position of an association and / or professional body or;
  • A senior administration position in the education and training environment or;
  • A senior service orientated consultancy business administrator position *Personal qualities and behavioural competencies : *
  • Eagle eye and rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask across various requirements
  • Unquestionable reliability and dependability
  • Collaborative but independent worker
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented self-starter
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, multi-cultural and multi-dimensional environment

  • A good grasp of business financial terms and ability to work with numbers and related financial and accounting models
  • Excellent general knowledge of the South African marketing and corporate landscape
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills combined with a high level of general information technology awareness
  • Demonstrated knowledge in using website update software such as WordPress and email management software such as Everlytic
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the use of custom management systems (SCubed, MarkEdOnline,and SAQA Data Load)
  • Knowledge of database management software will be an added benefit
  • Knowledge and ability to use Adobe software suite or other design software *Salary* R30, R38, per month (Negotiable based on experience)*What youll need* *Education requirements : *
  • Minimum of NQF level 7 commercial and / or business administration orientated qualification
  • Professional certification in the relevant industry category will be preferred
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language (read, write, and speak) is a must *Preferred work experience :
