Under instruction from a leading specialised law firm based in Sandton, looking to secure the services of an experienced Portuguese speaking Immigration Attorney.

A minimum of two weeks travel into Angola and knowledge of Angolan immigration laws is non-negotiable :

Minimum Requirements :

LLB Degree

5 years Legal experience

Knowledge of Angolan Immigration Law

Fluent in both English and Portuguese

Strong Business Acumen and research skills

Job Specification :

Provision of legal advice on immigration laws to clients and colleagues .

Able to provide solutions to business daily business challenges.

Prioritise and work towards stringent deadlines.

Provide leadership and guidance to the immigration team.

Compliance with Risk and Management procedures.

Expand professional network with the view of identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Management of key client relations.

Appropriate regard to firm policies and protocols.

Delegates tasks, where appropriate to more junior staff with clear provision of relevant instructions.
