The Service Lab consists of a number of unique functions that serve to centralise and departmentalise various functions throughout Discovery.

Job Purpose Responsible for the conceptualization, planning, creation and execution of campaigns through combining multiple mediums to create high impact and engaging content for Discovery Health employees and selected external stakeholders.
Key focus on the delivery of :
Document creation and preparation for or on behalf of executive audiences across mediums, including : presentations, documents / print, email and social media;
as well as the creation of all graphic / creative requirements.
Concept planning and execution of campaigns across available channels, with thought through experiences and method of engagement, to ensure maximum participation and solid understanding of messaging.
Content creation for use within campaigns across mediums, including use of written, visual, animated and video content.
Conceptualization, planning, management, coordination and execution of internal communication campaigns to operational employees across Discovery Health.
Conceptualization, planning, management, coordination and execution of selected employee events, as well as selected external audiences.
Content creation, including all graphic requirements, as part of document preparation and campaign requirements across mediums.
Develop and present communication and event strategies; plans, concepts and proposals, to various executive forums across Discovery Health in line with broader company strategic initiatives.
Research, identify and implement new communication and event strategies (including digital).
Education, Knowledge and Experience Essential :
MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word (Advanced Level)
Tertiary qualification in a related Multimedia design field (complete or in progress)
2-5 years of experience in Multimedia or Graphic Design
Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Communications or Marketing
Graphic Design Advanced knowledge
2-5 years of experience in Campaigns, Communication and / or Event Management
Pre-existing experience within Discovery Service Organisation
Knowledge of Digital signage and related internal communication relevant to Service Communication
Understanding of communication standards and processes within Discovery
