Head of Strategy - BEE only
A leading TTL agency in the North is looking for a talented, inspired Head of Strategy, who is an unexpected platform builder who sets the ground for better work.
The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of the South African market; have their finger on the pulse in terms of consumer trends and the dynamic South African landscape.
They should have extensive strategy experience at an advertising agency with both ATL and digital strategy experience. The candidate must be collaborative, be able to pull together specialists across communication disciplines to create integrated solutions to client challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities :
Developing strategies that serve as a benchmark to other strategists in the agency
Ability to clearly articulate a strategic vision in a confident and persuasive manner to clients and teams
Managing and developing strategies for new business pitches
Maintain senior management contact with all clients
Maintain a sound relationship with all departments within the agency
Being the conduit of the latest planning information
Proactively suggest new means of developing and understanding the brand
Analysing existing data in areas such as demographics, socio-economics and the market for the client's product
Commissioning research as required to inform the strategy using both qualitative methods such as focus group discussions and structured interviews and quantitative methods such as demographic profiling and questionnaires
Monitoring cultural and social trends, and their impact on consumers' attitudes, behaviour and perceptions
Providing the creative team with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience and strategy
Presenting eventual conclusions and ideas to clients and other staff to sell your idea
Retail, FMCG and Financial services experience advantageous.
