PURPOSE OF THE JOB : The incumbent is responsible for the harvest and plant crew supervision and ensuring a quality harvest and planting result performed in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure that all repairs and maintenance is timeously performed on agricultural equipment.Organizes all harvesting / planting and additional equipment as required.

Ensures the required quality standards are maintained and quantity required is harvested.Ensure that equipment is well maintained.

Provide effective feedback to all necessary parties on harvesting operationsEnsure legal compliance of documentation and accurate route planning of equipment convoy control.

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum 3 years agricultural experienceMinimum 1 year supervisory experienceGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated strong interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging operational environmentValid SA EC1 license and valid PDPMcCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
