Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Construction Engineering Foreman Electrical to be placed in Limpopo.
The successful candidate will report to the Site Engineer. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position.
Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to : All construction at TOM and BOM Competent, motivated, disciplined and positive team Effective self and team supervision in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives Effective stakeholder engagement Engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications Engineering equipment is maintained according to agreed standards, procedures and schedules Compliance with SHEQ, MRC and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols Desired Experience & Qualification Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills : Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent Section 26 Recognised / Equivalent Trade Certificate relating to Electrical LV and MV field Engineering Foreman Certificate of competence or proof of formal Supervisory training in planning, leading, organising, and control MS Office Proficient (Word & Excel) Sound verbal and written communication skills in English Suitable candidates must have the following work experience : At least 2 years’ experience on a supervisory level as an Engineering Foreman At least 5 years’ practical experience on electrical and instrumentation construction Medically fit to work underground Ability to manage various construction projects.
Ability to generate daily and monthly reports and program updates. Quality Assurance experience. All appointments will be done in line with our employment equity strategy.
