Primary Function :
Maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse and supervising staff. Manage and ensure all day to day functions of the Outbound department are met and to Eaton standards.
Liaise and aid all internal customers or suppliers. Ensuring all day to day functions is executed with Safety as priority.
Essential Functions :
A.Maintains Outbound departments day to day operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing Eaton policies and procedures.
B. Safeguards outbound operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures.
D.Contributes to team effort by aplishing related results as needed
E.To ensure that all Safety requirements of the area are adhered to by the team, and to record all safety observations / incidents.
F.To define (identify) value-adding and non-value adding activities, to reduce (or to eliminate-if it is possible) 8 types of waste, (Transport, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Over-
Production, Over-process, defects, unused creativity) (TIM WOOD)
G.Maintain an outbound accuracy of 98.5%
H.Ensure ongoing monitoring and improvement on 5S+ aspects.
I.Ensure Daily Housekeeping is being maintained in the department.
J.Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
K.Measure and report the effectiveness of the departments activities and performance
L.Ensuring all invoiced stock is shipped the same day
M.Scheduling of driver routes.
O.Evaluate team performance and develop performance improvement plans
P.Attending to Internal and External clients queries promptly and accurately.
Q.Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project andmunicate department status
R.Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices, be an Pro-active player.
S.Meets Outbound operational standards by contributing department information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-
service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements
T.Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
U.Maintains holding area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; rmending improvements.
V.Aplishes warehouse and organization mission bypleting related results as needed
W.Ensure all POD are scanned and Filling done daily.
