General Manager : ICT, Business Integration and Optimisation

Summary : The purpose of this role is to lead direct and manage ICT, Business Integration and Optimisation by focusing on the following functions;
alignment of ICT strategy with Business strategy, Implementation innovative ICT solutions for the business, effective security and protection of information.
Qualifications Required :
A BSc in Engineering / Computer Science / Business Computing;
Cisco Certified Engineer;
MBA is an advantage.
Experience required :
6 years’ experience in a management consulting firm;
8-10 years’ experience in the technology industry;
Good knowledge of at least 1 Enterprise Architecture framework;
Experience in installing, configuring and using 1 or more Enterprise architecture tools;
4 years experience and certification in one of the following- Service oriented Architecture (SOA) Analysis and Design Information Technology Industry Library IT Governance and security Software Life Cycle;
Good experience in various technologies, platforms frameworks and methodologies such as Enterprise portals, EAI, SOA, ECM, Identity and Data management, etc. ;
Specialised knowledge of professional management principles , theories and practices, guidelines or precedents applicable to kinds of problems encountered ;
The ability to apply knowledge of process and procedures and technology and systems capabilities in solving architectural problems
Strong proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, word, PowerPoint ,etc. ) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
The ability to conduct thorough research Knowledge- eService / eGovernment Strategy and Technology Transformation programmes
Enterprise Solution architecture(including data, enterprise ,service-oriented architectures)
Experience on relevant major packaged enabled enterprise transformation e.g. ERP, SCM, CRM, business intelligence, etc.
and relevant major software packages e.g. SAP, Oracle, Siebel, PeopleSoft, Hyperial.
Key responsibilities :
Work in a team to develop and build a holistic view of the organisation’s IT strategy enterprise architecture package integration;
Service oriented architecture and infrastructure optimisation;
Manage system selection and implementation, services, policies, processes, procedures, solutions and information assets to ensure an IT Alignment within the organisation;
Provide periodic reporting to management.
