Cash Centre Branch Manager FCS East London Reporting to the Regional ManagerJob Purpose : Branch Managers in Fidelity Cash Management Services Department are there to make sure that a consistently, high quality counting and verification service to all clients are provided by all relevant Staff (Supervisors / Tellers / Box Room Operators / Treasury Tellers / Admin Clerk / Technicians)Minimum QualificationsGrade 12 or NQF Level 4 Certificate.

Registered Grade C PSIRA Certificate.MS Office computer literacy (Word, Excel & Outlook)Have knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.

Minimum of 3 years experience in the specific working area.Be proficient in MS Office programs.Specific Job Responsibilities : Reporting to General Manager.

Accountable for Cash Centre appointed to him / her.Opening and closing of Cash Centre where applicable.Ensuring all daily reports and statistics are up to date.

Ensuring Standard Operational Procedures are adhere to at all times.Ensure all relevant documentation is complete / neat and filed.

Ensuring Incident reports are handled as required.Ensuring all client queries are dealt with in a professional manner and timelessly.

Ensuring client satisfaction is top priority in our line of business.Appointing of new staff.Ensuring discipline is enforced in the cash centers.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)Verify that all Keys are sealed and locked away, against Key register.Sign off Occurrence Book daily to ensure staff comply with basic procudures.

Verify that all daily reports of different Clients / Superiors are send at end of shift daily.Ensuring Registers are used and signed for daily.

Access registers / Dustbin register / Calibration register / Short-Surplus register / Cheque register / Key register / Stock registers)Make sure all Standard Operational Procedures are followed to the T during shifts (Spot checks via CCTV and documentation).

Ensure incident reports are raised for all differences above R10.00.Verify all differences over R .00 are reported to you Regional manager.

Testing and report any faulty equipment to Suppliers.Report all consumables to be ordered to Divisional Office.Handling al queries, incident and initial investigation rapports.

Make sure all relevant documentation is completed / neat (Spot Checks via documentation).Make sure all relevant documentation is filed correctly daily (Spot Checks via documentation).

Make sure all bulk balances to systems (Spot checks via documentation).Make sure canisters are sealed and serviced daily (Spot checks via CCTV and documentation).

Handling vetting and recruitment procedures.Organizing all Polygraph test needed (Pre employment / Incidents)Verify weekly attendance / leave planner.

Make sure all new staff sign and understand SOPs.Make sure housekeeping is up to date.Ensuring daily stock count is done and reported to HQ.

Ensuring that the daily CCTV check list is completed and sent to HQ.Ensuring that all cameras are % operational and reported if found not to be operational.

Weekly float checks are done personally.Any other reasonable duties / instructions given by ManagementSkillsGood interaction skillsBilingualCommunication & negotiation skillsPortray a professional imageExcellent administration skillsGood writing & reporting skillsExcellent time managementHonest, reliable and trustable characteristics.

AbilitiesMust be a team player and a good leader.Must be honest and reliable, and of good health.Willing to work long hours / overtime due to job requirements.
