Minimum requirements :

  • Matric
  • Relevant tertiary education would be highly advantage
  • 3+ years working experience within the same or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail skills
  • Duties will be, but not limited to :

  • Spot check hotel rooms
  • Responsible for stock and stock taking
  • Standing in for GM when GM is on leave
  • Providing a visible management presence while on duty
  • Ensuring each department is prepared and staffed for each shift.
  • Assisting with weddings, functions & conferences when required
  • Monitor health and safety throughout the hotel.
  • Assisting with day-to-day operation of hotel
  • Communicating with employees (problem solving, distributing work duties, providing all means to get the work done)
  • Assisting other heads of departments with their work
  • Reporting to the general manager
