The designer will be involved in the end-to-end design process and own the customer experience from start to finish. He / she will be tasked with owning the experience of a product and not just the delivery of a prototype.
They are seeking senior design consultants interested in enabling the client’s vision and creating tangible outcomes through the UX strategy that positively impacts business, technology and users.
Minimum requirements : A degree within a design related field (bachelors or post graduate degree) Proven UX experience with a portfolio that demonstrates a design thinking approach to solutions for Android, iOS, and web Relevant UX-related qualification from an accredited institution (optional).
E.g. IDF, HFI 4+ years’ experience in user experience & visual user interface design Ability to create clean, visually consistent designs In-depth knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools such as InVision and AdobeXD Understanding and appreciation of standard user interface design concepts and processes Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences at various levels of the organization Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple design requests in a timely fashion, with competing priorities and deadlines Experience testing websites and software on a variety of platforms including iOS and Android mobile and devices Previous experience with user centered design principles and practices, web / mobile standards, typography and color, and web / mobile usability standards Have contributed as a leader in the design field and a strong collaborator across product managers and process engineers Knowledgeable in creating wireframes, visual mockups graphics, user workflows, and low and high-fidelity prototypes Ability to work with designers and developers to implement new ideas Experience in the financial / insurance industry would be highly beneficial Experience in managing a team within an Agile environment would be beneficial Effective problem solving, showing resilience Excellent communication and presentation skills Critical and strategic thinking that influence decision making Technical understanding aligned to best practice Collaboration and teamwork Creative and innovative mindset Duties will include, but are not limited to : User and Platform Research : Personas The designer will be involved in collating the information and insights from the research done and assist in finalising pragmatic personas focusing on the external and internal user’s wants and needs’ and jobs to be done’.
Customer journeys and user experience interaction design The designer will be involved in ideation design sessions and responsible for creating, presenting and refining the To Be’ customer experience journeys based on the personas defined and problem statements defined in the As Is’ customer journeys.
The designer will also create low fidelity wireframes for selected customer journeys to be used as an input into creating an interactive prototype.
Service Blueprints The designer will assist in the documentation and validation of service blueprints for each scenario in the customer journey.
The designer will interact with various business and technical stakeholders to ensure that the relationships between different service components people, props (physical or digital evidence), and processes are directly tied to touchpoints in the specific customer journey.
Design : Prioritise and plan design deliverables Be able to plan a design project from start to finish and manage design deliverables within an Agile framework.
Scope design work and plan backlog on Jira using an Agile framework Prototype development The designer will be involved in communicating the designs and behaviour to prototype developers so that selected UX designs can be converted into an interactive prototype to visually demonstrate the user experience to key stakeholders.
Create conceptual designs (low-to-mid fidelity screens) that align to user, business and tech outcomes while managing stakeholder expectations.
Work within the constraints on a design system while innovating on wireframes and processes Testing : Conduct usability testing The designer is expected to plan and conduct usability testing with clients.
Be well verse in quantitative and qualitative testing methods, which include performance tests on prototypes and mental model testing on users.
Ability to synthesize and analyse findings from usability testing sessions. Report findings to senior stakeholders and manage expectations.
Incorporate refinements and revisions that align to user findings. Implementation : Create UI designs for deliverable - Utilise a design system to create UI screens and manage the delivery within development teams.
