stage development through to operations has a position available for a Quality Assurance / Control Manager - Salary R45 000 per month and be a resident of Prieska or Douglas -
Contract position (for the duration of the 12-month project) - Start date will be as soon as possible. Qualification Required Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution and 3 years of quality control / assurance experience related experience and / or training Or High School Diploma or GED and 10 years quality assurance experience related experience and / or training Other Requirements SA Citizens ONLY EE Applicant ONLY Ideally a resident of Douglas or Prieska, Northern Cape Strategic Objective Oversee operations to ensure materials and construction practices meet government and company construction standards and guidelines.
Plan, direct, supervise and implement project quality assurance activities in compliance with applicable company standards and programs on Greefspan Construction project in Douglas, Northern Cape General Tasks Prepare quality assurance procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance with quality assurance requirements Provide necessary outgoing correspondence and ensure compliance and / or correctness Participate in review board meetings to resolve non-
conformance areas; follow up to ensure corrections are implemented Perform / supervise internal / external audits to ensure quality assurance requirements are implemented and / or maintained Perform / supervise inspection of work in various disciplines as required Assist in resolution of company non-
conformance reports Coordinate quality assurance program with job site departments and contractors Perform additional duties per the direction of project management Maintains knowledge of company values and strategic plan Support published corporate policies Perform additional assignments per management’s direction Interact with subordinates, co-
workers, subcontractors and upper management Train new personnel, leads team meetings, schedules field testing, conducts inspections, and educates workers on new or revised construction codes Examine blueprints, verify material measurements, discard products that don't meet quality requirements, initiate efforts to correct or modify work performance and oversee site-
