  • How youll role* Looking for a passionate and talented Digital Media Lead / Digital Media Manager to join a dynamic team in the short-term insurance sector.
  • The ideal candidate would need to plan, develop, track and report across paid search and display channels as well as effectively manage and optimise each channel.

    Candidates must possess a firm grasp of all primary paid media platforms and have strong targeting and re-targeting capabilities.

    Additionally, candidates must have strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyse, report and provide meaningful and actionable insights on campaign data.

    The role requires you to be comfortable managing meetings and presenting reports and performance updates. *What youll do*

  • Developing and implementing campaign plans and optimising to achieve key performance metrics by brand
  • Work closely with all paid media partners : Google and affiliates
  • Maximise performance across paid media channels through effective optimisation strategies
  • Conduct regular keyword analysis and identify trends, data patterns and opportunities
  • Ongoing audit of search, display and social channels for each brand and provide insights as to how ROI can be increased
  • Provide accurate campaign performance reports and analysis on a daily / weekly and monthly basis
  • Understand and manage creative campaigns to improve ad performance and quality CTRs
  • Responsible for Google Ads budget allocation, planning and ROI reporting
  • Work with designers or developers to optimise landing pages for optimum quality scores and create the branding of banners etc. for key data capture
  • Optimise paid media campaigns and conversion rates
  • Implement recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of paid search in accordance with brand objectives
  • Ensure evaluation and tracking to monitor campaigns and A / B testing setup and tracking is in place
  • Contribute to campaign performance reports, using data to tell stories and provide actionable insights for team members as well as marketing managers and the wider digital team *What youll need*
  • Grade 12 or SAQA accredited equivalent
  • Google Ads Certified essential (GMP certification advantageous)
  • Relevant Marketing degree Essential experience :
  • 7+ years digital marketing experience
  • 3-5 years of managing a team
  • Experience in the financial services vertical and e-commerce
  • Experience in running paid search performance campaigns within Google Ads
  • Experience with the Google Marketing Platform - Search 360 and Campaign Manager Knowledge of :
  • Google Ads platform
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Data Studio
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
