Purpose of the job :

Maintaining records for all transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and processing reimbursements.

Key Results Areas include :

  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Review and process reimbursements.
  • Prepare budgets.
  • Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rates.
  • Keep records of invoices
  • Identify and address account discrepancies
  • Experience & Competencies :

  • Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant and or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, for example Great Plains
  • Well versed and practical hands on experience with MS Excel, working with spreadsheets etc
  • Thorough understanding of bookkeeping process
  • Must have worked to tight deadlines, within a project-based environment
  • Qualification with the Finance Diploma and or Degree
