This is a key role of a Project Assistant for three design studios supporting the work of the studios, maintaining awareness of the work of the studios, communicating well between members and working with them to ensure the smoothing running of projects, whilst also maintaining practice protocols.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, your role will be varied with no two days the same. Responsible for tasks such as creating reports in InDesign, managing the issuing of drawings, organizing project meetings, running studio inductions or preparing bid documents and submissions, this is an exciting role which you will be able to get stuck into and play an important role within the various teams and right across the studio.
Software and Knowledge
Advanced InDesign and Photoshop skills and demonstrable high level of graphic expertise is important. Knowledge of Newforma would be useful as would be basic Revit skills in order to print, pdf documents and edit drawing blocks.
You should have excellent attention to detail and great presentation skills. A confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills are a must.
