This position reports to the Advertising ManagerYour responsibilities will include : Driving the adoption and usage of Takealots self service advertising platform by Retail Suppliers and Advertising agenciesDevelop promotional material and content to encourage adoption of the platform by Retail SuppliersEngaging with suppliers to suggest potential strategies to optimize campaigns and converting existing ad customers to use the self-service tool.

Create and implement new supplier acquisition strategies, and drive long term re-engagement for onboarded advertisersCollect feedback from suppliers about the advertising platform and provide useful insights to further enhance the platformBuild case studies of the successful usage of the self-service tools to drive adoption by ad agencies.

  • Work with the internal supplier Communication team and external providers to develop and present material for supplier events to drive adoptionRun educational webinars to train users (agencies or suppliers) in the best use of the platform and how to optimize their campaignsRun events to market the advertising platform and explain its benefitsEscalate any operational platform issues to the technical teams to resolveAttributes Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and follow-throughExcellent content design;
  • and presentation skillsAbility to understand and apply advertising technologyAbility to work independently to achieve sales targetsEntrepreneurial mindsetUnderstanding of the digital advertising and e-commerce environmentAbility to manage and influence people across various business unitsStrong numeracy skillsQualification & Experience : Bachelors degree (or equivalent diploma) is preferentialbut not required5 years experience in B2B salesDigital Marketing, Advertising and or Sales qualifications are advantageous but not requiredStrong track record of internal and external relationship managementThe Environment : takealot.
