Purpose of the Job :

The Occupational Trainer will report to the National Training Manager. The primary responsibility of the Occupational Trainer is to evaluate and induct trained security officers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Advise Senior managers on Training Policies and Practices

Prepare and conduct Facilitation & Assessment

Provide Office & Administrative support

Daily, weekly and monthly report writing

Prepare for Assessments

Review Assessments

Create and Modify documents such as Assessment Tools, Facilitator Reports, etc.

Project Management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Matric Certified

Relevant Tertiary Qualification

2 - 3 years relevant working experience

SASSETA registered

Valid Grade B PSIRA Accreditation

General Security Practices and Specialist Security Practices Qualification

Solid Computer Proficiency (Excel / E-mail / Word / PPT)

3 - 5 years of experience in a Training Industry

Previous Experience in the Security Industry

Valid drivers license with own reliable vehicle

Ability to manage conflict and good understanding of language barriers

Strong knowledge of the basic Legal Aspects in the Security Environment

Ability to negotiate and liaise with managers

Must be able to work under pressure

Analytical and Problem-solving Skills

Excellent Telephone Etiquette
