The successful candidate will have the following job requirements :

Responsible for the accurate measurement, recording and reporting of all

metrology functions

CMM / PI-Web inline measuring programmes / reports

Calibration / verification reports / certificates

MSA / capability studies reports

Record correct First off / Last-off sample, as identified and kept until production

run is finished

Product / re-qualification audits of parts

CMM Maintenance schedules

MSDS Hazardous chemicals

Check to ensure control of PI-Web software is set up as per the customer specific

measuring points with tolerances & is maintained as per customer mess plan

Creation & development of Zeiss Caligo / PI-Web programmes / PPAP layout reports

Accurate reporting and filing of program data. Evaluate measuring results &

communicate them to departments

Calibration / verification of hand tools & measuring equipment

Handling of customer complaints from receiving of report to feedback

Compile Test Reports to Suppliers. Conduct Patrol Inspections

Prepare ISIR / PPAP documents & samples

Release of production stock into Dispatch

Prepare ISIR / PPAP documents & samples To transfer measuring data / test results on a daily basis to the customer & for continuous improvement

Regular Quality Feedback

Communicate quality related issues to Team

Perform capability studies

Re-qualification Process of parts, tools, jigs, & measuring devices

Conduct measurements of parts with 3D coordinate Measuring Machine against Data file and customer drawing

Creation of Mess plan / part layout for all customers

Receiving Inspection

Minimum requirements :

Grade 12 or equivalent

CMM / programming competency certification

Quality related certfication i.e. SPC, MSA, FMEA, Problem Solving etc

IATF 16949

Knowledge of 3D customer engineering drawings and CAD

Knowledge of part layout concepts and the creation of measuring reports using the Caligo / PI-Web software

Knowledge of Cad and customer Messplans with general applied tolerances

Statistical Process Control using PI-Web software

Precision measuring / accurate to detail

High ability for Problem Solving techniques

Creation of programs on CMM / PI-Web programmes

8 to 10 years in CMM knowledge / experience & creation / modification of measuring

programmes

Ability to read and interpret CAD / 3D customer drawings / messplans / SPC
