Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in the Human Resources Department, based in Parow. The successful incumbent will report to the HR Manager.

Your key performance areas will include :

  • Ensure accurate updating / capturing of personnel info on SAP and HR files
  • Ensure accurate general personnel administration
  • Update ISO 9001 personnel related documentation
  • Collating of the HR salary budget / forecast for Southern Region and report monthly on variances
  • Administration & co-ordination of budgeted headcount & headcount variances (Distell & Incon)
  • Collate monthly HR & IR reporting
  • Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Time and Attendance clocking system / Access control
  • Conduct a simulation payroll run prior to final payroll deadline to ensure correctness of data
  • Effective management of funds and benefit, and general HR related administration
  • Assisting HR Manager & Practitioners with HR related matters
  • Assist in establishing sound relationship with all stakeholders
  • Manage efficient filing system for HR related functions
  • Accurate and timeous processing of payroll info (e.g. overtime)
  • Perform general personnel administration (e.g. school loans, access control, shares)
  • Maintain and verification of org accuracy for Southern Region
  • Processessing and payment of invoices
  • Assist with co-ordinating and arrangements of learnership programs
  • The successful candidate must have the following experience / skills :

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in HR Management will be advantageous
  • 1-3 years’ relevant working experience (payroll experience will be an advantage)
  • Computer literate in MS Office and SAP (HR & Finance modules)
  • Be able to act professionally and in confidence at all times
  • Be able to work independently and under pressure
  • Be a Team player
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills (able to do presentations on small scale)
  • Task orientated ability to take initiative and solve problems
  • Be pro-active and solution focussed
