Our client, a market leader in the South African Pet Food Industry, is looking to appoint a Communications Manager in Bellville, Cape Town.
Candidates based in the Eastern Cape and those that are willing to relocate to either to the Western or Eastern Cape, are welcome to apply as well.
You will join a fast-paced environment with the aim to communicate efficiently cross-departmental, as well as to retailers and the public.
The communications silo will form part of the Marketing Department where you will manage marketing officers who oversee customer service, internal communications, and retailer communications, whilst reporting to the Marketing Executive.
Requirements : A relevant degree in Communications is preferred, or a Diploma5+ Years relevant experience in a related role within an FMCG or Corporate Communications environmentExceptional spoken and written communication skills fluent in English and Afrikaans a must!Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CE will be advantageous.

Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager to develop and implement communication plans tailored towards retailers including but not limited to campaigns, corporate notices, price updates and training.
Develop and manage a communications calendar towards retailersDefine key performance indicators for each communications channel which will indicate a campaign's level of successAssist the Brand Marketing Manager and International Marketing Specialist to ensure that marketing material and messages are aligned across all Brands.
Internal CommunicationsDrive the internal communications strategy to improve key communication and ultimately create consistency, clarity, and relevance for employees.
Assist Top Managers to communicate relevant information to the company through various platforms.Constantly drive the company culture message to all employees, assisting the culture committee where necessary.
Develop relevant and engaging campaigns and content to achieve the internal communications goalsEnhance and refine the communications strategy and tools to ensure effectiveness.
Improve on the communication processes, in close collaboration with relevant staff to ensure efficiency, alignment, and overall effectiveness of corporate communication.
Work closely with HR to ensure that company policies are creatively communicated to all staff.Improve communication across our facilities in all provinces, ensuring that staff are always informed.
