SAA pharmaceutical company who specialises in the development, manufacturing, marketing, sales and wholesale distribution of essential and innovative consumer products for use in the medical, surgical and dental sectors of the healthcare industry JOB DESCRIPTION : MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIREMENTS : Matric Certificate.

Bachelors Degree : Industrial / Engineering / SystemsEngineering / Process Engineering OR NQF Level 5 or Higher operations management, production planning or any other relevant operations certificate.

OR 3 years experience in operations management, systems engineering and manufacturing processes and techniques. RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to) : To oversee and manage production control activities, including maintenance procedures, general operations and production scheduling.

To ensure batch control procedures are followed.To ensure adequate reporting mechanisms through accurate recording of data such as production capacities and packaging capacities.

Ensuring traceability of the entire manufacturing process for all production lines.Ensure all manufacturing activities are ISO : compliant, and that all procedures are followed correctly.

Weekly reporting of manufacturing activities.Monthly reporting of problem areas within manufacturing, areas for improvement, and overall performance of all production lines.

Ensuring end to end manufacturing processes are completed successfullyAny miscellaneous engineering work related to production or operations Manage and instruct and distribute machine operators and packaging labourCommunicate with engineering / production related suppliersLocal purchasing of production related equipment / consumables with written permission from Directors.

Communicate with international raw material suppliers regarding quality, and technical information.
