The position reports into the Head of Digital

As Senior PPC Manager you will be responsible for managing one of the biggest Google Adwords accounts in South Africa. We are looking for a tech savvy, highly analytical individual who will leverage numbers to make decisions.

This individual will be required to constantly be monitoring KPI’s and striving to achieve these on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

You would need to be on top of all developments in the PPC landscape and always be pushing the envelope to achieve results.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Strategy development for all PPC advertising, these include but are not limited to : Search Engine Marketing (Google Search & Google Shopping)Display Channels (Acquisition & Remarketing)App Advertising (Acquisition & Retention)Video (Youtube)
  • Managing large scale budgets across multiple PPC accounts within an MMC.
  • Manage, analyse and optimize campaigns to achieve and exceed key performance indicators
  • Ensure tracking of all channels is in place & operating correctly
  • Ensure reporting of all channels is in place
  • Ensure knowledge of the digital landscape is shared with other departments
  • Staying informed of the digital landscape in order to mitigate or capitalise on any upcoming changes
  • Training of connected departments & any staff within the team

  • Qualifications / Experience :

  • A tertiary education is required preferably within Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science
  • 3 years experience in running large scale e-commerce PPC campaigns
  • Certifications : AdWords Advanced (required)Google Analytics (required)GTM (Beneficial)YouTube / Video (Beneficial)
