Minimum Requirements... Must have
Relevant degree and post graduate degree
Highly proficient in Excel at an advanced level
Highly proficient in PowerPoint at advanced level
Strong numbers Acumen (understanding and interpreting of performance data and financial numbers)
8 year’s work experience with a minimum of 5 years’ in a leadership position
Experience in the actuarial / statistical / mathematical / financial field will be a distinct advantage
Knowledge of Jira software will be an advantage
Knowledge of coding (specifically in SQL language) will be an advantage
Job Specification... Responsibilities : Budgeting and Budget reviewing
Set up and take ownership of the yearly budgets for OUTsurance Marketing department, including the Advertising, Sponsorships, Production and Departmental budgets
Keep track of budgets over time, and make sure that all parties involved are aware of over and underspend at any given time.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on budgets and invoices
Manage the budget updates and facilitate weekly review budget meetings
In charge of annual marketing budget review
Ownership of marketing payment processes and cost allocations
To be the key liaison person between marketing and finance
Make sure that all invoices and payments are costed to the correct cost centre
Sign off of invoices
Handle all ad hoc queries from finance or rest of business with regards to cost allocation and payments
Owner of management reporting for the marketing department
Make sure that all reporting for the monthly management meetings are received on time, and that all data is correct before submission
Compile and submit Management Committee packs on time
Run with the agenda, and be the key stakeholder to the business in terms of all points that needs to be discussed for all divisions and products including Personal, Essential, Brand, Business, Life, Funeral and Pet
Compile the quarterly marketing section for the Board Pack with input from all stakeholders
To work closely with the IT, Actuarial and Data Scientist to ensure marketing performance data is correct.
Continuously enhance performance reporting in conjunction with IT, Actuarial and the Data Science area.
Risk, Compliance and Audit Support
To be the key liaison person between marketing, risk and compliance and auditing department
To assist these departments with all queries
To make sure that all risk and compliance documents are submitted as and when requested
To create compliance required process and procedure documents for marketing.
Assist the Marketing Project Manager with Project Management of the marketing department.
To assist in defining standard operating procedures in the marketing department.
Work closely with the Marketing Project Manager at all times
Be the first line of approval on all internal communications, before it gets sent to the CMO for approval
Assist the Marketing Communication Specialist with all workflow items as and when needed
Management and Leadership
To take up the role of a manager within the marketing function and together with other marketing leadership govern and direct the Group Marketing function.
