Education for Mechanical EngineerHigh School Degree in Technical, Industrial, Electrician, ElectronicsQualification : Four years experience in Industrial electrical workMinimum 2 years experience required in power distribution wiring, directly related power plant / electrical switchgear and control panel maintenance and repairDemonstrate strong leadership by problem solvingAbility to read design drawings and wiring diagrams is required.

Installs new circuits and equipmentInstalls conduits, wires, cables, pull boxes, transformers, switches and other related equipment required in making additions, extensions, or alterations in electrical systems,Test and diagnose malfunctioning machinery using test equipment, and repairs malfunction.

Replace faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devicesPerforms preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on plant equipment.

Performs preventive maintenance and repair on all switchgear control circuits, contactors and relays.Tests and repairs all safety circuits in control units.

Communicate with plant stuff and other BU department in a professional manner concerning all pertinent machine data that impacts the user's ability to run equipment or systems.

Troubleshooting problems with plant equipmentUsing detailed work instructions, including electrical schematic and connection drawingsOperating plant equipmentProficient in the utilization of multi-meters, frequency generators, data loggers, and assorted hand tools and documentation of measurements.

Perform electrical repairs in accordance to Occupational Safety and Hazards Association OSHA guidelines.Mentor Maintenance Mechanics by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.

Actively engaged in safety, participating in safety programs, safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership leadership in personal safety of other team members.
