In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis including but not limited to annual budgeting, mid-year business reviews, monthly forecasting, gross margin analysis.

This is a key leadership position within the division finance team and plays a critical role in monitoring and assessing business performance and making recommendations for improvement.

  • What You Will Do :

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the annual plan process for the SSA Market, working closely with the Regional finance team
  • Manage all aspects of divisional budgeting, mid-year business reviews, monthly forecasting, and all related analysis and communication.
  • Manage all aspects of gross margin and supply chain analysis, including key business segments, customers, product lines and key programs.
  • Identify and execute margin improvement strategies and initiatives.

  • Provide financial management for the business, working closely with VP and team to enhance reporting, analysis and business support.
  • Perform special projects to support the business as required.
  • Coordinate the monthly reporting providing insight around key metrics and P&L review. Deliver high quality reporting and business reviews on a monthly basis (Market / Country Decks) Analyze / review the P&L line items to understand and communicate business performance and drivers.
  • Promote financial awareness & understanding across Finance Provides effectiveness analytics and timely reporting

  • Business Finance Partner to Food & Bev. and Institutional Divisions
  • Routinely communicate to the business leaders and country GM’s the operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics.
  • Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.

  • Coordinate timely delivery of all Adhoc reports
  • Partner with accounting, treasury, tax as appropriate
  • Participate as a key thought leader of the Regional finance team, influencing decision making, identifying finance priorities, managing directly and indirectly finance staff in multiple locations.
  • Strong people management skills to train and develop the team
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with preference for CA / CIMA.
  • Five or more years of accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong PC and systems skills (Syspro / Iscala / Oracle / SAP / MS Office).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Integrated ERP experience with excellent MS Excel and MS Power point skills.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical pronouncements
