Reference : PTA002445-JB-1Our client is a distribution partner for numerous market leading printer brands. They require a Debtors Clerk / General Office Assistant in Marlboro (JHB) *OR* Cape Town (Mailtland) to manage debtors and act as a general administration assistant for the Financial Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities Duties will include Run monthly management reports in Pastel Debtors reconciliation Sending of statements to Debtors Debt collecting from customers across South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa & Indian Ocean Islands, ie.
ensure that Cash customers’ don’t have outstanding invoices (weekly) & pre-empt debtors, with credit terms, payments before month end and follow through Assist with administration of stock takes Admin assistant to Company’s 2IC, which will include : Updating of Debtor document batches (daily) Annual subscriptions / license renewals Assist with Annual Financial Statement document preparation for auditors Monitor cellphone & vehicle usage Assist with administration / document control on foreign suppliers Assist with monthly statutory submissions Any other office administrative duties required from time to time Requirements Friendly, presentable, honest, reliable, pro-active, self starter, structured.
Proficient in spoken and written English Own Transport Reside close to either Marlboro (JHB) ór Maitland(CPT) Computer Literate (Totally comfortable with Outlook, Office Word, Office Excel) Experience in Pastel Partner (preferably Version 19) Minimum 3 years’ solid debtors experience (including collections) Salary Disclaimer The advertised salary range is merely a guideline and the candidate may not necessarily receive an offer within the range.
