Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone / email
Update calendars and schedule meetings
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxingDo everything in his or her power to promote and develop the business of both the Employer and shall use reasonable care and skill in the performance of his or her duties.
Obey all lawful and reasonable instructions and perform such work as he or she is directed to perform which fails within his or her vocational ability regardless of whether or not such work falls within the scope of the post to which the Employee is appointed, and shall perform such work for the company or any concern designated by the company at such location as he or she directed by the company.
