To complement our growth plans we have an exciting sales position in our Service Equipment Business (SEB).

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager Service Equipment Business , we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Salesperson Service Equipment Business to be based in our Durban office.

In this role, you will drive the sales of annual recurring service contracts by converting leads into customers, improving the efficiency of the sales flow and driving sales in order to achieve targets.

We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understands how to partner and collaborate with the business.

We need someone who has the ability to influence, with an analytical mindset, result driven and a strong commercial acumen skills.

This role requires the salesperson to build relationships and manages the account of existing customers and new customers through meetings and by retaining existing and building new business with them.

He / she also manages and grows portfolio by selling maintenance contracts and related digital services.

Are you the one?

  • Diploma or higher and Management Development Program will be advantageous;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in one of the following : Sales Service Contract Management
  • Technical background in the construction and building material with experience in the elevator / escalator industry preferred;
  • Experience on CRM tools and MS Office is a must;
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service;
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to draw conclusions and identify patterns;
  • Ability to bring people together and to be able to lead by example;
  • Passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus;
  • Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Knowledge of other African languages will be advantageous
