Job Purpose : Building a competitive range and own the brand. Develop and implement Marketing Strategic Plans through brand building and Marketing / communication campaigns to achieve turnover growth and profit.


  • Assist in delivering the sales and profitability targets
  • Manage A&P expenditure to drive sales and brand image.
  • Interact with Sales on in-store campaigns and manage inventory (excess inventory and stock turn).
  • Tracking and reporting on the performance of the brand
  • Management of brand P&L.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of sell out data, competitor environment, target market consumer need and trends.
  • Lead and direct seasonal range offering with reference to brand strategy
  • Ensure the consistency of brand image, totality and look-and-feel across all mediums including packaging, in-store, traditional above the line, PR and digital.
  • Drive brand differentiation through on pack, in-store and communication elements.
  • Work closely with the marketing agencies in order to maximize success of new launches and constant initiatives to deliver the desired marketing goals.
  • Complete monthly forecasting to ensure sufficient stock levels are met.
  • Preparing of biannual catalogues and roadshow books to take new developments to trade.
  • Lead innovation for the brands (product, retailer activities and launches).
  • Carefully manage time lines via interacting with support departments.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to develop a detailed annual marketing plan that covers brand positioning, sales and promotional calendars, pricing strategy, A&P spend and innovation.
  • Ensure constant communication and alignment with the key department like finance, purchasing, sales and planning.

  • Completed NQF Level 6 : Bachelor's Degree / B.Tech in Marketing / IMM
  • Minimum of 3 5 years’ experience as an assistant Brand Manager or product manager.
  • Experience within the Fashion Industry will be highly beneficial or alternatively experience in FMCG.
  • The ability to construct and implement brand plans and marketing strategies
  • Analyse and interpret financials (for example market information, A&P expenditure, Brand P&L’s, etc.)
  • Strong computer literacy
