A leading JSE-listed packaging manufacturing company requires the above to be responsible for all activities relating to payroll and human resources.
Minimum requirements for the role :
Minimum Grade 12.
A tertiary qualification in human resources or payroll functions would be advantageous.
Must have 5-years’ proven experience in a similar role.
Must be driven towards improvement and the use of technology functions.
Advanced VIP Premier working knowledge is essential.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills is essential.
Must be willing to travel out of town when required to do so.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Paying the weekly and monthly wages and salaries for the group including all 3rd party payments.
Compiling the weekly and monthly report on human resources and payroll statistics to senior management.
Managing human resources company policies and reporting to management accordingly.
Serving on the training and equity committee.
Liaising with medical and pension fund administrators regarding updated employee information.
Clearing payroll reconciliations.
Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
