Minimum requirements for the role :
Previous sales experience having sold industrial wood coatings or related products into the industry is essential.
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential.
Previous experience having worked in a Key Account Management role as well as having developed new business for a company is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Managing Senior Key Accounts within wood coatings and related markets.
Identifying new markets, business opportunities and establishing new accounts.
Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers sales volumes.
Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, merchandising techniques, etc.
Servicing existing customers, growing sales volumes and profitability.
Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations.
