A well-established leading paints and coatings manufacturer requires the above to manage a portfolio of Senior Key Accounts and new business development for the company.

Minimum requirements for the role :

  • Previous sales experience having sold industrial wood coatings or related products into the industry is essential.
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Previous experience having worked in a Key Account Management role as well as having developed new business for a company is essential.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Managing Senior Key Accounts within wood coatings and related markets.
  • Identifying new markets, business opportunities and establishing new accounts.
  • Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers sales volumes.
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Servicing existing customers, growing sales volumes and profitability.
  • Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations.
  • Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable based on experience gained.
