A leading multinational telecoms company have a great job opportunity for a Senior Manager : Engagement and Internal Communications to join their team in Johannesburg .

You will be responsible for embedding a futuristic Global Internal Communications philosophy as well as the successful delivery of Employee Engagement Initiatives

Your key job responsibilities for this Senior Manager : Engagement and Internal Communications job in Johannesburg will include :

  • Responsible for creation of Engagement and Internal Communication vertical strategy in line with overarching functional goals, with emphasis on client experience (internal and external)
  • Ensure effective implementation of functional strategy by means of providing direction, structure, business plans and support
  • Ensure that appropriate measurement metrics are set to track progress made across the Group
  • Conduct regular review of the functional strategy and roadmap to ensure its alignment with the changing dynamics of the internal and external ecosystem
  • Source, induct, and manage talent in accordance with legislative guidelines
  • Continually develop a culture of strong collaboration and effective team working
  • Participate and provide input in strategic meetings
  • Provide inputs to enterprise wide transformation initiatives
  • Ensure continuous Improvement to ensure global internal communication model and related solutions are globally relevant, futuristic, sustainable and enable high impact internal communications
  • Requirements for this Senior Manager : Engagement and Internal Communications job in Johannesburg :

  • Minimum of 4 year tertiary degree (specialization in Business Communication / Literature / Management / Human Resources / Behavioural Sciences / as appropriate)
  • MBA or Masters (advantageous)
  • Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body relevant to Internal Branding, Business Communication, Design management, employee engagement (advantageous)
  • Fluent in English and language of country preferable
  • Manager track record of 5 years or more
  • At least 3 years of relevant managerial experience in HR domain with specific focus on internal / external communications / brand management
  • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies
  • Experience working in a medium to large organization
  • Experience in Telecom Business will be advantageous
  • Project management experience
  • Pan Africa multi-cultural experience
