Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Build, service, and maintain a base of customers within the Cape Town CBD, Atlantic Seaboard, Southern Suburbs as far as the deep South.
  • The call route and frequency of visits to all customers within your base will be agreed on by the individual and their line manager.
  • 100% of customers to be covered within the required timeline
  • The territory can be subject to change to ensure time in trade is optimized or if a business need / requirement is identified
  • Required to make daily use of Skynamo sales system
  • Clearly understand customer segmentation ensuring brand fit to the customer is realized
  • Quarterly objectives are the key focus areas to ensure effective / productive time spent in all calls
  • Be assertive in driving and securing listings of the portfolio brands with the aim being the achievement of the trimester and yearly objectives
  • Secure displays and brand visibility for listed brands and new listings ensuring exposure, awareness, and brand health is optimized in any given outlet
  • Effectively deploy all given brand POS, FSU’s in trade thus maximizing visibility
  • Maximize the potential of trade partners by building solid relationships
  • Negotiate & confirm promotions / demos in your outlets
  • Keep all sales-related administration updated
  • There will be a degree of product tastings that you would facilitate as well as participation / set up of events
  • Qualifications

  • Completed Matric or equivalent accredited by SAQA.
  • Tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
  • The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years experience within the liquor industry
  • Have a clear understanding and working knowledge of the off-trade liquor channel
  • Strong negotiation skills & business acumen
  • Own reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  • The candidate will be based in Cape Town.
