Job Function - Is responsible for providing a comprehensive Human Resources support function to line managers and employees
Key performance areas
Industrial Relations Coordination
Coordinate timeous scheduling of disciplinary hearings.
Coordination and Administration of IR processes (Disciplinary Hearings, Grievances, Absentee Counselling)
Empower managers with required skills to manage and maintain sound Industrial Relations
Employee Problem Resolution
Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants
Resolve queries (in conjunction with HR admin) - salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
Liaison with the NBC for employee benefits queries
Assist Line Managers
Provide HR support service to line managers
Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures (Leave, Study, Disciplinary and Grievance procedure)
Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.
Recommend remedial actions to line HR queries.
Ensure accurate submission of Time and Attendance records.
Record keeping of employee personal information and upkeep of personal files.
Co ordination of Production S / S Meetings
Coordinate Production meetings with relevant parties
Record minutes of Production meetings
Resolving HR related items
Drive and resolve Gemba reported HR related matters
Coordinating recruitment process
Align the process with the plant EE plans
Ensure recruitment administration is compying to set standards
Bachelors Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7
Skills and experience required
Minimum 2 years work related experience
