To perform the duties of a chemical technologist involved in the Quality Control Unit
Minimum requirements :
BSc Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Chemistry
2 years' experience preferably in quality control in a pharmaceutical environment
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
Knowledge of the operation of microbiology quality control equipment and processes
Knowledge of the operation of analytical equipment and processes
Knowledge of writing and implementing procedures
Skills & attributes :
Duties will include but are not limited to :
Perform chemical quality control of samples and finished products
Perform sterility and endotoxin testing
Test the filter integrity of all dispensing and perform pH tests
Determine radionuclidic and radiochemical purity
Perform air-particle counting
Performing qualification on and validation of equipment and troubleshooting when necessary
Removal of biological waste by external company
Report and ensure adequate stock levels at all times
