The purpose of this role is to achieve contracted sales performance objectives and maintaining post sales relationships with customers.

Identifying further asset based finance opportunities in conjunction with the Absa Business Bank Relationship Executive. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess new market opportunities for asset based finance the portfolio of existing customers
  • Support the ABB RE in the selling of asset based finance
  • Assess market opportunities with respect to external supplier, manufacturer and Alliance sales sources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with supplier, manufacturer and alliance partners
  • Validate that customers needing to finance an asset through the external market have no touch point with ABB, if there is a touch point, advise the RE
  • Conduct a client site visit when receiving a potential lead
  • Discuss the general outline of any required asset finance with the RE for an existing ACBB customer and the Business Analyst or Alliance partner within the external market
  • Generating sales with clients that have established credit lines
  • Offer asset finance solution
  • Ensure that the appropriate pricing and margins are secured for both the client and the bank
  • Ensure that the asset dealers are registered on the Commercial Asset Finance (CAF) dealer registration database
  • Drive the asset processing process
  • Inform client on the result of the credit application
  • Provide a product relationship to all new and existing customers
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are being adhered to
  • Ensure that the customers asset finance needs are correctly identified and the appropriate asset based finance solutions offered

    Essential / Basic Qualifications

  • B. Degree in Commerce or equivalent NQF level 6 or higher qualification
  • Four (4) years asset based finance experience
  • FAIS NQF level 6 qualification with 60 Credits or higher
  • Three (3) years FAIS role experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
  • No criminal record
