We’re looking for an innovative and performance-oriented Senior Social Media Manager to help us bring the future of Movies and TV to South Africa.
Amazon’s Prime Video is an on-demand video entertainment service that offers customers the greatest choice in what to watch, from exclusive Amazon Original shows and movies such as Wheel of Time, Coming 2 America, The Tomorrow War, The Boys, and The Grand Tour to 1000s of popular Movies & TV shows.

In this role, you’ll help develop and execute a world-class social media marketing program for our fans in South Africa, delivering best-in-class customer engagement.
Adept at influencing global partners, you’ll work across multiple internal teams including brand, creative, content and PR, as well as external platform partners and local creative and media agencies to recommend, influence and implement our holistic strategy, gaining buy-in and approval from global Prime Video leadership.
You will also end-to-end own the delivery of pre-planned campaigns and day-to-day editorial decisions.
Bringing a genuine passion for Movies, TV and social media, deep knowledge of South African social media trends and best practices and you will deliver social media results in a fast-paced environment.
Success in this role requires the ability to recommend holistic customer-centric strategies based on local marketplace expertise, excellent project management skills, a deep and current knowledge of each platform’s unique offerings and influencers in South Africa, a keen eye for compelling and innovative content and a passion for continuous improvement.
You will be challenged to push boundaries, proposing and executing new ideas that could help develop new best practices for Prime Video globally.
