Shared Applications Manager
Global IT Service Delivery (GITSD)
The Function
GITSD designs, builds and operates a portfolio of shared applications and infrastructure services and is responsible for IT service management and integration firm-
wide. GITSD is a matrix organisation leveraging central and regionally federated IT operations and a range of strategic suppliers.
It works closely with Global CTO and CISO functions as well as regional IT to develop and manage the shared service portfolio and the development and management of global common standards, policies, tools and practices.
The Role
The Shared Applications manager is a centrally dedicated role within GITSD, accountable for managing and developing a shared portfolio of on-
premise and cloud applications. The role will work alongside regional IT application teams to ensure effective and cost optimised, end to end demand management, operation and maintenance of the portfolio.
This will include ownership of strategies, roadmaps, service models and suppliers. The varied portfolio will entail a mix of portfolio and direct management including working alongside projects, service design and transition to introduce new services.
