A senior external sales consultant required for a well known services company, to facilitate new business development. Generate leads of potential business by cold calling and referrals Set up pre-

determined number of appointments with potential customers To work independently in order to effectively structure a day to allow for key sales related activities, including sales prospecting time.

Conduct site surveys to determinate potential customers’ needs Do quotations and presentations to potential customers of all services To sign client contracts in accordance with Service Level Agreements Ensure all documentation is correct when handing it over to Installations and Finance to process Drive the installation until completion Update all sales activity on CRM system Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers and architects Ensure that new sales target is monthly met by closing all potential sales Identify opportunities for other divisions of company Three or more years of external sales experience in new business development Proven sales experience and track record in new business development (preferably in the Interior Plants sector) Own vehicle South African valid driver license Ability to deal with high end clients / designers / architects Excellent presentation skills Excellent and demonstrable people and communications skills.

Strong relationship skills and the ability to work through short to medium term sales cycles. Organizational skills, time management skills Self-

starter. Able to manage change effectively and conform to shifting priorities and timelines Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Strong negotiation skills The sales person must be able to cope in a high pressured sales environment.

Strong cold-calling techniques We offer a substantial basic salary with a petrol and cellphone allowance Three or more years of external sales experience in new business development Proven sales experience and track record in new business development (preferably in the Interior Plants sector) Own vehicle South African valid driver license Ability to deal with high end clients / designers / architects Excellent presentation skills Excellent and demonstrable people and communications skills.
