Successful financial services company, subsidiary of listed groups, looking to appoint an Analytics Lead someone with a strong analytics background including SQL / SAS and degreed majoring in stats or maths.

He / she will be expected to own, identify, develop and implement predictive analytics models and processes across the entire customer value chain from marketing, customer segmentation, prioritisation, next-

best-offer, customer propensity, and attrition modelling.

Min Criteria :

A bachelor’s degree in Science or Business (Statistics, Actuarial and / or Mathematics preferred)

Good working knowledge of MS Office

Working knowledge of SQL / COGNOS / SAS / Paragon essential

Previous Predictive Analytics and Modeling experience of 5+ years pref with retail financial services experience

Previous Leadership Experience advantageous

Key Responsibilities :

This person will be accountable for identifying and managing the delivery of all predictive models that are required in order for the dept to meet its objective of creating a high touch, high tech customer platform.

They will be 100% dedicated to the program, but will be able to utilise existing data sources, tools, and resources from the current analytical team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the on-going engagement with the team in order to understand the key business objectives and the determination of how the Analytics function will support the attainment of these objectives.

They will be required to use advanced analytical techniques such as modern data mining, pattern matching, data visualisation, and predictive modelling tools to produce analyses and algorithms that help the business make better decisions.

The types of models they will need to investigate, recommend, build and help deploy include (but are not limited to) :

  • Customer segmentation
  • Workforce Prioritisation
  • Next Best Offer
  • Propensity Modelling
  • Attrition Modelling
  • Customer Lifetime Value
  • Take ownership for web analytics tools, and provide recommendations to the digital marketing and customer experience teams.

    Contribute to the creation of the dept data model so as to ensure that the underlying data structures support the development of the various model requirements, and a customer data store.
