Grade 12 with accounting qualification / s and practical accounting skills / experience
At least five years Internal audit / Compliance experience.
Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English
Computer literate (MS Office)

Be able to work as a team and individual. Duties & Responsibilities INTERNAL CONTROL
Obtaining valid knowledge of all the financial systems, procedures and functions within the organisational structure,
Performing of audits, identifying compliance issues against policies, procedures and legislation and related regulations.
Recommending improvements of business procedures, taking into account external rules and regulations through ensuring company policies are up to date and relevant.
Tracking of issues raised from both Internal Audit and External audit and implementation thereof. Performing of follow-up audits; and,
Undertake special investigations as requested by management. COMPLIANCE
Prepare Compliance certificates on a quarterly basis for Audit Committee
Manage and maintain Conflict of Interest Register and ensures that declarations are requested every 2 years. Notifies CEO AND CFO of any irregularities that may require corrective action.
Monitor bank guarantees in favour of various beneficiaries and ensure cancellation when required including obtaining all cancelled guarantees back.
Involved in making applications for new guarantees.
Maintain signatories (both manual and online platform).
Maintain user permissions on online platform.
Renewal of licence for Remover of Goods in Bond annually with Customs and Excise including application for Importer and Exporter and Automated Cargo Management. OTHER
Manage Supplier take on and application process including terms and conditions.
Governance - Administer the gift register.
Perform adhoc duties as directed
