Our client was founded in 2001 as a specialist offshore investment advisory business. Our client focusses on offshore investments and family office services, for families with significant offshore wealth.

They are based in Claremont, Cape Town and work with roughly 80 families and high net-worth individuals, equally split between Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsibility for client operations, administration and compliance
  • Administering client investment accounts, instituting compliance processes and monitoring, and liaising with clients and FSPs
  • Providing excellent client service, in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively managing your workload and responding to requests and tasks in a timely and professional manner
  • Working closely with the wealth manager and investment analyst to deliver reviews, valuations, and recommendations to the clients
  • Requirements :

  • CFP or CFP Candidate (i.e., partially completed) or completed RE5 Compliance exam
  • Comm at Post Graduate level with either a major or sub-major in one or more of the following :
  • Commercial Law
  • Compliance
  • Risk Management
  • Investment Management
  • Financial Planning
  • Strategic Management
  • Business Management
  • At least two years’ work experience, preferably in a Financial Service / Wealth Management environment or related services industry
  • Strong interest / experience in IT systems
  • Character and Attributes :
