The Digital Account Director will be responsible for :
Driving client partnership with strategic influence and intent, whilst being the focal point for day to day client interaction, digital campaign planning and service delivery.
Managing digital and social campaigns across a portfolio of brands on a day-to-day basis.
Specific Responsibilities :
Act as agency lead across a portfolio of brands, partnering with the client and their media agency.
Interpret the client’s business needs into clear creative / digital briefs.
Deliver high quality digital and social media campaigns end-to-end, in line with agreed brand plans and objectives.
Implement and manage digital and social campaigns, with specific emphasis on managing tight timings and deadlines.
Develop digital project plans, with effective and timeous delivery from concept to execution.
Work alongside creative, strategy, media, digital development and data teams; managing multiple campaigns at the same time.
Interpret campaign performance to optimize creative work and improve current practices.
Interpret digital trends, unlocking new and relevant opportunities across digital and social platforms.
Business Skills :
Ability to lead a team, including external agencies, in both work-from-home or work-from-office environments.
Strong digital skills with a strong understanding of social and digital platforms and technical / production requirements.
Ability to think commercially and understand real return on investment.
Strong focus on strategy & execution.
Strong project management skills.
Understanding of digital channel requirements, ad units and digital best practice.
Broad understanding of all communication disciplines.
Ability to solve problems quickly and thoroughly.
Understanding of new technology and the application of it to the creative process.
Experience working with detailed digital chase lists is essential
Experience working on FMCG brands will be advantageous.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years Account Management experience, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience at Digital Account Director level .
The following attributes are also essential :
Tertiary Marketing and / or Advertising qualification, with digital certification essential.
Digital agency experience is essential. Experience on large scale multinational brands and / or in FMCG would be advantageous.
Proven experience in leading a team, including external agency partners.
