FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Part-Time Positions Ref : 21 / 378 The Office of the Executive Dean in the Faculty of Management Sciences has part-time positions for five (5) Project Associates at the Pretoria Campus for the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development under its Department of Management & Entrepreneurship.

5 X Project Associates (34 weeks for 19 hours per week) Core functions : Coordination of project activities throughout the project's life cycle.

Provide technical and administrative support to the Training and Organizational Development team. Consolidate and manage beneficiaries’ compliance information.

Adhering to project standards as defined by project leader or client. Prepare reports for the Projects Committees and any other relevant Committees.

Ensure proper records keeping for all projects. Preparing submissions with proposed recommendations for approval. Respond appropriately to queries related to projects by providing advice, information / documentation where required.

Provide optimal work capacity with relevant skills. Implementation of agreed initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Monitor and manage external perception of the project team. Ensuring that all correspondences are professional and in line with standards and protocols of the Centre.

Ensures that processes required to deliver the outputs of the relevant project are developed, implemented and adhered to.

Minimum Requirements : A relevant Business degree / Advanced Diploma or other relevant qualification (NQF Level 7). Candidates are required to be a registered student at least a Postgraduate Diploma or Masters’ qualification.

Minimum Experience : One-year experience in facilitation of learning (for example, facilitating tutorial classes and / or functional groups’ team building, etc.

Knowledge of project administration and management. Ability to coordinate project without supervision Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Good communication (verbal & non-verbal) and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational and administrative skills and Attention to details Experience in assisting in Short Learning Programme implementation at a tertiary institution will be an added advantage.

Experience with entrepreneurship assessment and personality profiling. Experience as a student assistant will be an advantage Interested candidates can send their CV
