Duties and responsibilities :
Teach undergraduate modules in mainly, but not limited to, Public Financial Management and Supply Chain Management.
Provide guidance for the short research reports to be completed by the Honours students.
Contribute to the department’s research output strategy by participating in research projects, academic conferences and publishing scholarly peer reviewed articles.
Inherent requirements :
Master’s degree in Public Administration and Management, obtained with a 70% average.
Must enrol for a doctoral degree at the first available opportunity, if not yet attained by the time of the appointment.
Required competencies :
Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to function well in the university’s richly diverse working environment.
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point, Data Time Table, People Soft, Outlook).
Time management skills.
Problem identification and solution skills.
Assumption of duties : As soon as possible.
