Key Performance and Responsibilities Administration Management :

  • Check documents for thoroughness and completeness before sending to line manager.
  • Effective staff management, motivation & training
  • Ensure that accurate and complete reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are properly maintained.
  • Maintenance of engineering certificates of all POS and any other required Health and Safety documents.
  • Timeous and Accurate compilation, administration and distribution of all key required information
  • Event Management :

  • Attend site visits to new venues and / or large events with the client, if required.
  • Brand visibility without putting the brand in disrepute.
  • Effective executions of events set up and break down according to client standards.
  • Ensure that all required equipment is available for upcoming events.
  • Report on event activities.
  • Take photos of the event set up, break down and during the event if required to stay at the event for the duration of the event.
  • POS Management :

  • Ensure that all events POS is taking care of and handled with care.
  • Inform management of POS condition and any POS shortage issues.
  • Manage the general maintenance of event POS.
  • Vehicle Management :

  • Complete weekly vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure that all services are carried out as per service book.
  • Ensure that company vehicles are maintained as per company standard.
  • Warehouse Management :

  • Assist in ensuring that all Health and Safety objectives are adhered to as set out by the company.
  • Manage general housekeeping.
  • Reporting to the management of any warehouse related security and / or safety issues.
  • Assist in ensuring that all Health and Safety objectives are adhered to as set out by the company.
  • Client Management :

  • Build relations with customers and principals
  • Ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Ensure that the client’s objectives are met.
  • Respond to and deal with client communication via email and / or telephone.
  • Requirements

  • 3 years of event experience preferred
  • 1 year of retail experience preferred
  • Matric certificate or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Code 10 drivers license with a valid PrDP
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound literacy and numeracy knowledge
  • Sound computer knowledge including, but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Great organisation skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic Health & Safety understanding
