iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

Therefore, only applications that are submitted in English will be considered.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of :

Junior Attorney - VIE Contract (W / M)

Key responsibilities :

  • Vetting of contracts (drafting, reviewing, negotiating, finalizing to signature)
  • Legal research and opinion-writing
  • Interpreting and applying complex legislation in the healthcare industry
  • Drafting, reviewing, implementing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Updating legal templates and implementing them across different business units
  • Conducting training on SOPs and templates
  • Drafting legal reports as required
  • Ad-hoc daily advice to the various departments within the business
  • Providing a strong support function to the Legal Director as instructed
  • Candidate's profile :

  • Education : qualified lawyer (post-graduate legal qualification and cum laude / distinction preferred); degree courses : at least company law;
  • contract law; data protection law; healthcare law preferred; post-qualification experience preferred

  • Experience : excellent drafting, vetting and negotiation skills; desktop research skills and writing of legal opinions;
  • able to read, interpret, analyse and apply relevant legislation, regulations, Codes and policies; excellent administrative and file management skills

  • Soft skills : positive attitude, hard-working, self-motivated; ready to work well with diverse group of professionals from different backgrounds;
  • able to take instructions well; thorough and meticulous; able to work independently, without constant supervision; confident and ready to conduct training and presentations as required

  • IT tools : MS Office; excellent computer literacy skills
  • Languages : fluent English, both oral and written
  • Other : valid international driver’s licence; clean criminal record
